I have the pleasure to announce that my artwork will now be in Stowe at the finest new gallery in town. The Brickhouse Studios Gallery opened it doors recently and has brought together under one roof the work of Vermont's top visual artist. I am honored to have had my work included with such great talent.
Word already in the grapevine has it that the Brickhouse Studios Gallery is going to be the place in Stowe to not overlook when seeking great art.
A colleague recently asked me why I had a blog on my site. I responded that it was to let people know what I have been up to. She quickly said, so you have done nothing since last summer? It is safe to say I got the message.
One project I have been working on, that is scheduled to be published by the end of March of this year, is my second book. It is filled with photography of autumn taken on the mountain back roads in northern Vermont.
Since most leaf peepers visit Vermont during the peek season they miss many magic moments created by the contrasting of the first changing colors mixed in with those that have not. It is my favorite time of fall.
During the early part of the autumn season, I spend days in the mountains as if on a wild safari searching for new colors. A few years back I shot a maple whose leaves were pink while all other trees around were still green. It was a huge capture for me being I had never before seen pink leaves on a tree.
Autumn, The Magic Of Vermont
There that wasn't so bad! I shall try to blog more often.
